Club Information:
Over thirty years ago a group of scratch scale model boat modellers and enthusiasts of the Clyde paddle and turbine Steamers set out to model an age which was almost gone, but was still loved and remembered by many Glaswegians.
With a wide collection of model boats and piers, the Club regularly visited Clyde resorts to provide radio controlled displays of the ships that had plied the waters of the Clyde and the Firth.
Currently members sail a more varied range of models; there are still the old favourite paddlers, but these are now sailing alongside the post war diesels of the Cal-Mac fleets and a range of puffers,  lifeboats, modern war-ships and kits.

Originally based in Maxwell Park in Pollokshields, the Club later moved to its current water in Rouken Glen Park, where the members indulge in relaxed sailing every Saturday from 2pm.

The Club does not hold any competitions, only a couple of Open Events per year, to which all modellers are welcome.
Note:-The Club name relates to the colloquial term for the passenger ships of the Clyde; not to any specialism or expertise in steam powered models.
