Club Summary :
Founded in 1989 out of a club with connections to the Civil Service Sports Section.
The Club meets during the Winter in the premises of the South Fife Rugby Club, Harley Street, Rosyth and from April to October at the boating pond in the adjacent public park off Park Road, Rosyth.
The pond measures approx. 200ft x 100ft and an average depth of 9". Excellent for most scale power boats but restricts the depth of keel for sail. The pond is inclined so a lot of "sailors" can use about 1/2 of the pond with a 10" keel.
All types of models are constructed including electric, steam and sail (see note above).
The club has a wealth of boating knowledge amongst its membership so most problems are either remedied or directed to where an answer can be found.
