Club Summary :
The Club was formed as Carlisle Marine Modelling Association in 1991 and changed its name to Carlisle Model Boat Club ten years later.
We meet at 7pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of each month throughout the year at The Education Centre, Talkin Tarn Country Park, Nr Brampton, Cumbria and sail each Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting) at the Tarn from 1.30pm.
The Tarn which measures 65 acres is set amongst 120 acres of beautiful farm and woodland and the facilities include ample parking, toilet/changing areas and tearoom.
