Club summary. -

The club was formally launched in July 2008 under the wing of the Scottish Fisheries Museum, Anstruther. While it is run independently of the Museum it has extremely close ties with it in so far that the museum provides a meeting venue, workshop facilities and access to the museum itself. All members of the club are required to be members of the Scottish Fisheries Museum Trust prior to becoming members of the Model Boat Club.

The members meet usually each Saturday morning at 10 a.m. on the pond (wind and tide permitting). A more formal meeting is held on the third Saturday of each month within the Museum at 10 a.m..

The club tries to accommodate all aspects of Model Boating, normally electric and sail - (except i/c engines and fast craft).
