A submarine day is being held on Sunday 2nd September at Barrow in Furness. The event is being run by Furness MBC in conjunction with The Association of Model Submariners. Details of the venue are on: http://www.geocities.com/furnessmbc/
All are welcome to attend and I'll post additional info as soon as I get it. Some EMBC members will be attending.

If it was not such a distance with a car full of Subs I may have been able to make it , but I know the road and it long and windy from here to there so I submit my apoligies now , but I'll make it to Edinburgh on the 9th of September and will give you a thrill with the big U2540 and fire a few torpedo's off whilst I am there!!!

so you thin gauge boat skippers watch out cause at 150PSI I can blow a whole in yer hull!!!

I may even have the underwater camera system working to boot to get a few clips for the sites!!

I'm really looking forward to your Edinburgh visit Rob and hope you have the camera working. You've beaten me to it on this one. Not sure the swans will welcome you though!
It's a pity about Barrow but I know that road only too well and it's never one for the faint-hearted at the end of a long Journey from your neck of the woods.

what is the dia of the torp tubes and length on your sub andrew?
my torp's may fit you know!!
