After the dreach weather of the last week or so, the gods certainly smiled down on the Murdieston Dam on Sunday. Glorious blue sky's and plenty of sunshine, made for a warm and brilliant day.

On behalf of the Murdie Dam Sailors (The event organisers) I'd like to say a great big THANK YOU to all of you who made the journey down to Greenock on Sunday. I hope you had as an enjoyable day as we did.

A quick tally at the end of the day showed that we had raised over 1,000, with more money still to be added to the total, I think we can safely say, that the day was most definitely a success.

Once again lads many many thanks for turning up, you have certainly did your bit for a good cause.

Pat.

Ali Baba, we were hoping that he would turn in to a suicide bomber and do one. We couldn't find an auctioneer and the local round table foisted this guy on us as being well up to the job. Ach well we'll know better next time Laughing

Apart from that a really good day

Cheers for the offer Norrie, we'll maybe take you up on it next year. By the way Norrie on behalf of the organisers I'd like to thank you for clearing the blocked toilet, it saved us a helluva lot of grief.

Glad you and the weans enjoyed themselves, from the offers that are starting to come in for next year, we're already off to a flying start.

Pat

Superb stuff and great photographs. However could you not have gotten a decent bunnet for the occasion. Well done.
