This was the first Nip Sunday 2010, you can read the report elsewhere.
We got 2 new members from this event.

Enjoy these pictures by Brian Cowell (Chairman)

David Cowie won the "Golden Bunny" with "that Red boat" with it's new "stealth sail"

More pictures of the event can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/weenip5/NipSundayMarch2010#

The "picture on the grass" will be taken at each event, Nip Sunday will move to QP, next month for their open day.

****NEWS FLASH****

Remember that maniac, Gaffa Tape Kid, at QP, who handed out yellow cards?
He was seen cutting up yellow & red cards for Richmond's End of Season Sail, on the 12 Sept 2010. Shocked

He was also asking if anyone had a tannoy, that's all we need. Rolling Eyes

...Its Bad News Eddie...

I collected a pair of Red & Yellow cards from Hampden Park the other day whilst on a Sports Injury Course...

And as for the Tannoy...I have just bought a new set of batteries for my Radio Microphone...That means that it can transmit from any where around Richmond Pond...

These items could be passed onto The "Gaffa Tape Kid" If required...
Do Yellow Cards carry over to the next race the same as Football Matches ?...

...Best Regards...Norry...

P.S...Big Brother is watching You...And that other Thug Cowie...

Norry

Personally, I would ban D.T.K. Wink but you know how hard it is, finding someone who can use a watch, for a 60 sec. countdown Laughing

So I expect we're stuck with him Laughing who said, "one volunteer is worth..........................."

Well guy's, it's time to call an end to the "Official Season", getting too cold to stand about Crying or Very sad but if you turn up at the pond with your Nip, I'm sure you will find someone to sail with. Very Happy

It was a good season, with our record numbers broken twice & finishing at 15,Very Happy there are also a good number of new Nips being built at a local level & reports of Nips being built in Englandshire. Very Happy

From time to time, a Nip has come up for sail this year, it is usually snapped up immediately.

There is a new Nip website, from "down under" Smile http://weenipsbayside.yolasite.com/ so while we are standing here freezing, their season should be getting started. Very Happy
